About DJ Stache

 DJ Stache is a husband/wife owned business located in Woodbury, TN by Larry & Angie Powell. The name "Stache" came into being by Angie's friends who would tell Larry to put "Stache" on the karaoke requests when they were out singing karaoke. The name just kind of stuck since Larry has had a mustache as soon as he was old enough to grow one. 

One of Angie's friends, Ken Strobe, always talked about retiring and starting a honky tonk bar in Murfreesboro, TN. Larry would joke with Ken that if he acquired the bar that he would do karaoke shows for him. Well, Ken acquired the bar so he called Larry up, who agreed to do the karaoke shows although he had not one piece of karaoke equipment. Larry figured out what he needed to do and thus began KJ Stache. Larry continued the weekly Wednesday night gigs at Hank's Honky Tonk for about 10 months. Some time later, one of Larry & Angie's school friends asked if Stache would do the music for her wedding. Thus began DJ Stache. DJ Stache has been steadily growing, going from barn birthday parties to upscale weddings. We are continuing to grow and are still purchasing some of the latest and greatest DJ equipment available for our 2022 offerings.
